Title: Allowed max Image Size
Post by: deauvilleuk on May 28, 2006, 10:46:20 PM
Hello,

I have installed CPG 1.4.6 and everything is ok, but today I noticed a member had uploaded a picture which had one of the dimensions in the 1300....but I have set maximum width/height as 1024.

How do I stop this from happening again ? I want all postings to have maximum 1024  width/height.

Many Thanks

Graham

Go into the config settings.
Look under the file and thumbnail settings.
Max width or height for uploaded pictures/videos (pixels) should be set to 1024.
Then change Auto resize images that are larger than max width or height from no to either yes:everyone or yes:users only

Hi,

Yep that's what I had already done but the picture was uploaded...that's why I posted to see if there was any reason why it allowed it  ???

I guess you should post a link to your site along with a non-admin test user account with upload privileges in some album.

And also a screenshot of your config panel page with these settings.  (Just to make sure we are all on precisely the same page.)

I just checked.  It works as expected on my 1.4.6 testbed.
