You begin by reading the documentation, the FAQs, and searching the boards for Invision.

i was seriously thinking of using coppermine in several sites that i administer.

one significant factor in making any software decision is support. imagine my disappointment when i see basically a extended version of RTFM and in this case F does not mean FINE... not that i'm not tempted with the same remark on a lot of occasions.

btw, here in los angeles, we have a facility that is called HYPERION...

here is a link to their site:

seems appropriate don't you think?

well, yes: Hyperion was saying RTFM, and he was right to do so. Who do you think you are? You're actually administering some sites? Pretty impressive  . Should I fall on my knees and beg you to use coppermine?
You better check your attitude, since open source software doesn't mean that users have a right on support. We (the dev team and a lot lot of people doing support here) do this in our spare time, without getting paid.
If you came here just for trolling, then fine, we all had our fun. If you came for the software, then use it or not - your choice.
If you have a question: read the docs, faq, stickies and search the board. If you can't find an answer, then post.

Locking this thread. Thank you for just being there, so I know there are two types of people: those who appreciate other's work and those who don't.
