Strange problem
I moved to a new server, installed the coppermine, everything looked ok with firefox.
Then at home it gave me an empty page - IE6 and firefox both.
Now I am at the computer from which I installed the coppermine.
Firefox - everything is OK, IE - blank page.
My friends couldn't open it on their machines with IE, Opera, Firefox...
I had some problems with plugins during instalation - I installed them, then removed several times. Can it be related or should I apply my provider?
Link, please.
Sorry, http://www.z00m.us/cpg/ (http://www.z00m.us/cpg/)
I just reinstalled it twice - from firefox and from IE.
Result the same - IE shows the instalation process, but gives an empty page when going to gallery after finishing install.
I use the latest version of coppermine.
-try this http://www.z00m.us/cpg/index.php?theme=giallo (http://www.z00m.us/cpg/index.php?theme=giallo)
why you removed all the theme?
- Please copy classic theme to your themes directory or use the link to make giallo as a default theme
- you shouldn't have any template.html and theme.php or any style on root of this folder(themes)
Thank You - working
I modified the giallo theme to match the design of my parent site. As I do not want other themes to be used so I removed folders with other temes. In the root folder for themes there was some files that came from installation. Should I remove them? Looks like it is some sample.
How should I make giallo a default theme not to keep others?
if you don't want all other theme remove all but just keep classic theme it's good for troubleshooting ;)
to set your giallo as a default go to :
admin mode=>config=>Themes settings=>Theme
and choose giallo and save.
- you can delete all the file (not folder) on your themes root
That was done, but didn't worked on IE - when I put back the classic theme, IE showed it no matter that giallo was set as a default in the admin mode.
Anyway Your link with the theme defined solved the problem - I use coppermine as a part of my site, so a long link isn't a problem.
Thank You again
it's fine for me !!!
with IE , it will show giallo , try to empty your cache or try ctrl+f5 , it's on your IE cache
