I have 2 questions:
1º) In index.php I want just 4 photos that can be shown in 1 row and 4 colums in the "Favourite pictures" section ("Imágenes al azar" in Spanish) and the same thing for the "Last images section", 4 pictures, 1 row, 4 columns. I´ve tried to change this in the config section, but it doesn´t work...
2º) I want my home page (index.php) to look different than the rest. I don´t know php, but I do know html, so I was thinking that maybe I could create 2 different templates, but after, how do I redirect the php pages to the second template that I create. Can you help me to solve this???

Re 2) Well, depends on what the difference should be. Usually, you create just one theme and modify it (maybe with a switch based on the currenty category). However, start a new thread for this issue, posting a link to your page and a sketch how it is suppossed to look.
And also choose better Subject for your post ;)
