Title: Please help.. I hope I'm in the right forum ;)
Post by: Lodema on June 20, 2006, 04:16:03 AM
Hello...

I have a question.  I have seen on other coppermine galleries, where at the bottom they have such things as "These photos are being used for entertainment purposes.  Please contact me if these pictures are yours" etc.

I'm doing a Days of Our Lives gallery and would like to have something like that.  Where do I go in to edit and add that?  I've looked through the theme folders and not sure if that's the right place or not.

I'm using a theme called 'Valentine'.

My Coppermine gallery is:  http://www.salemhearts.com/sh%20gallery/index.php

Thanks so much in advance!  ;D

put it in your theme/template.html.
and then add a new row under the row that contains '{GALLERY}', den put your footer there, using html code.  den it wiill then show on every page.

(1) It's best not to have a space in your gallery URL.  (The %20 in your URL corresponds to an encoded space.)

(2) Add whatever text you like, formatted however you like to themes/yourtheme/template.html.  Make sure not to delete any of the tags in curly braces.

Thanks!!

How would I change the link so it doesn't have a space? I tried and I think I have to change it in a few places right?  Thanks so much!  ;D

First change the configuration setting in Coppermine for the gallery URL.  Then rename the folder using FTP or your webhost file manager.

I changed it in my config.  Then I changed it on my FTP server.

I now get this when I try to access my gallery:

Not Found
The requested URL /sh gallery/login.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
