Title: No XP Publish access after Bridging phpBB 2.0.21 and CPG 1.4.8
Post by: BorisMayer on June 21, 2006, 12:56:41 AM
Hi,

after bridging the CPG with phpBB it's not possible to upload Pictures by using xp_Publish.

There's always the same error: when i put in my user and password after a few seconds it comes back to the login form.

Can somebody help me?

Boris

Even with my mind-reader hat on I can't say anything ::). Main reason might be that failing to provide a link and non-admin test user account gives me a hard time guessing your URL.

okay - let's have a look in my mystic glassbowl  ;D

phpBB2: http://tauchen.vfl-sindelfingen.de/phpBB2/
CPG: http://tauchen.vfl-sindelfingen.de/photogallery/

User/PWD: test/user

Have fun there, and thanks for helping...

The initial problem on your site is that the login doesn't stick in the first place. I tested this on two different machines, using two different browsers: when clicking "login" on your coppermine gallery page, you're being sent to your forum's login form, where you enter the login data. On submitting the form, you're being sent back to the gallery (again as expected). However, you're not logged in both in coppermine and your forum. There's something fishy with your bridging setup - you'll need to correct that first. Do as suggested in the sticky thread on this board. Once you fix your login issues, the publisher should work as expected.

Either use www.tauchen.vfl-sindelfingen.de or tauchen.vfl-sindelfingen.de consistently across your site or set your phpbb cookie domain to .tauchen.vfl-sindelfingen.de
