Title: The previous file could not be placed
Post by: TheWolf1 on June 21, 2006, 06:03:40 AM
My web host has moved my website from a server to another (not same OS, config, etc...) and since then I cannot upload files (but can view them).

I always get
uploads were successful
then
The previous file could not be placed
when I put the file in an album.

ImageMagick path is OK (/usr/local/bin).

/albums
/albums/edit
/albums/userpics
are all set to 755

I followed instructions at:
http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble

My Coppermine can be located at
http://www.avaliquette.com/gallery/
user = Test
pass = testing

Thanks!

No, you did not: set the number of file upload fields to "1" and the number of uri upload fields to "0" as suggested.

- Upgrade to 1.4.8 , it's mandatory!
- do as GauGau seggested
- check your "Method for resizing images"
go to:admin mode=>config=>Files and thumbnails advanced settings=>Method for resizing images and set it on GD2

GauGau: Sorry for that I tought it was for security reason only.

bmossavari: Will update, but great news, when I use GD2, everything is working! So it's my ImageMagic path who is incorrect my webhost told me it was OK!  ???
