hello, i tried out the coppermine gallery. But now, i can not delete the "www.mydomain.com/albums/userpics/dummy/dummy.txt" :shock: . I ve tried out everything, it does not work.

How can I delete this file via ftp ?

What CPG version are you using? It looks like something from the CVS but I could be wrong (have too many versions installed atm..).

Try CHMOD the folder and the contents to 777. You can do this in your FTP program permissions.

Otherwise no harm leaving it there.

no, i cant set chmod settings. im using the actual 121 version. I can not rename this file, i tryed out two other ftp programs ... please help me :cry:

how did it get in there in the first place? Did you upload it by ftp, or did you use the video mod and upload it?

If you can't delete it, CHOWN it first.

Today I tested on another website, and I've got the same problem:

SITE CHMOD 777 dummy.txt
550 dummy.txt: Operation not permitted

DELE dummy.txt
550 dummy.txt: Permission denied

RNTO sf
550 rename: Permission denied

Really, I don't think that's normal ... :cry:.
