Title: Batch add files fucntion: Hopefully a simple question
Post by: Doots on June 22, 2006, 01:39:27 PM
Hello again,

I'm trying to use the Batch add files fucntion and I keep getting the following message.

There are no folders inside the "albums" folder yet. Make sure to create at least one custom folder within "albums" folder and ftp-upload your files there. You mustn't upload to the "userpics" nor "edit" folders, they are reserved for http uploads and internal purposes.

I have created 2 folders inside the albums directory and have instructed my hosting people to set the CHMOD rights to 775, they tell me as it's windows they can just give read/write permissions..... I'm not sure if this will suffice.

This is what the set the include directory too, so I assume it would.

Thanks

Found the answer 4 pages of threads back....

switch the batch-add interface from "browsable" to "classic". The browsable interface doesn't work on all Windows-driven servers (known issue) because the server vars don't get populated properly.

Thanks anyway
