Title: Integration with SMF 1.1 RC2
Post by: JCRL761 on July 01, 2006, 12:48:53 AM
I have the following issue when trying to bridge Coppermine and SMF 1.1RC2:

There is no error message. In fact, there is nothing. I have a button on my SMF, but it goes nowhere.
I am an intermediate coder, but I am afraid I may have missed something this time.

Coppermine install: http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/photo/index.php
Forum install: http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/smf/index.php
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: SMF 1.1 RC2 (no mods)
Test user account: Tester / tester

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/smf
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../smf/
Use post-based groups?:  0

I'm not sure what your question is. The bridge works as expected.
The link to your gallery is http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/photo/ (as you already said). Why you make your gallery button on your forum link to http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/smf/index.php?action=photo .... I dunno

Okay... Dumb question time then. Where should the link be going if the Bridge works?
Should I set the button to goto http://creekside.starfirebiz.net/photo?

that's the link to your gallery. If the button should link to the gallery... what else would you want to give as link??

Success! I now have a link between SMF & Coppermine!

However...I'm getting an error:
"Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

When I attempt to access:
... Album List (not all the time, just seems kinda random)
... My Gallery (all the time)
... "Personal Gallery" from the Home Page

I also get "There was an error while processing a database query" when I attempt to access "Users" under the Admin Section. Is this because the two are bridged?

I just noticed a MAJOR version difference from what the latest version shows on the website.

I am going to update the gallery software. ;)
