Title: Dedicated Drive
Post by: Osteele on July 01, 2006, 03:25:27 AM
Hello all.

I would like all uploaded photos to reside on a dedicated hard drive. In my case, this would be drive "D". (80 gig)

My operating system (Win2000 Advanced Server) Apache web server (v2.0.48) MySQL (v4.0.18) PHP (v4.3.4) are located on drive "C". This drive is a miniscule 9 gig SCSI drive.

Not much room left on this drive.

Can someone assist me in redirecting uploads to my dedicated drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Peter

Thanks so much for your quick response. I really appreciate it.

I am going to look into the "junction point" solution. It appears to be the just the fix that I require.

Bye for now.
