Title: Bridging using vBulletin
Post by: delmarva on July 02, 2006, 09:00:05 PM
I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and my coppermine edition is 1.4.8:

Coppermine install: http://www.delmarvafishing.com/album/
Forum install: http://www.delmarvafishing.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.8
Forum version: VBulletin 3.5.4
Test user account: username: test / password: password

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.delmarvafishing.com/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  0

I have started the bridging manager, choose vBulletin 3.0 from the list and fill in the appropriate fields.

When I click on finish, it tells me this:

    * ../album/includes/config.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file

I have looked into the /album directory and it does not have an "album/includes/ folder, but an album/include/ folder.

I see that it is looking for a directory that is not there.

What should I do?

It says the relative path to your BBS, so enter ../forum
../album would be the relative path to Coppermine, which is not a BBS.

okay,  I made another mistake... I mispelled the domain name in the bridging manager. I tried logging back into the bridging manager, but it is not accepting my username and password. I can't make the domain changes. I do have access to FTP, so there must be a way to make the chage in a config file?

check it out. http://www.delmarvafishing.com/album and try to log in.

You can adjust the domain name in phpmyadmin, cpg_bridge table.
