Hi,
I think I encountered an error using the upload via ftp and then batch-adding the files to an album: The first picture gets doubled within the album, but in the folder, it's just one time (which is correct).
I hope this part of the forum is correct :-)
Is there any fix of that behaviour in CPG1.4.8?

Well, it is hard to post a link because I deleted the filder and recreated it. But it seems the problem is caused by files that contain blanks within the filename.
If you wish, I could recreate a sample-folder so you can have a look at?

upload proccess will replace blanks with _
It's not the first picture for me that gets doubled, but randomly this happens.

Whilst adding pictures via batch add files it says DP for a totally new images (no same name files in the gallery).
It doesn't allways "doublepost".
Some of them I have fixed by deleting the picture from coppermine
and re-adding it, thus losing the statistics for the image in question.

I haven't updated yet because haven't found the normal, edit the code, find and replace -method for update.

No help of the upgrade, still the doubles seem to appear.
And offcourse when I delete another one of the doubles, the other that stays, goes blank.
Well yeah, sure, it deletes the files but only the single DB/album entry
Is that an out of the box Coppermine or have you added some custom code

Almost out-of-the-box..
Only mods are placing the banner next to gallery title, removing language flags and something that was next to it (don't remember right noe ehat it was).
And the few extra buttons like "Stats" , "Calendar" and "RSS"
Atleast those are the only ones I can remember right now (sunday, 5am, I'm at work, yay)
