Title: version check - question
Post by: Laney on July 13, 2006, 03:18:34 PM
I just ran version check - I updated from 1.4.4 to 1.48.
File "anycontent.php" is in red, showing the older version.

Install.php is missing

albums/edit/no_FTP-uploads_into_this_folder!

Summary says:
Total files/folders checked:      242
Mandatory files missing:    2
Optional files missing:    0
Files left over from outdated Coppermine version:    1
Outdated file versions:          0

Should I upload the 2 missing files and a new version of anycontent.php?

thanks,

Elaine

Anycontent.php is fine to be an older version, after all it's just so you can add you own bits to the page.
On a production server you shouldn't have install.php on it once you've set up the system

That's what I thought, about anycontent, after all it was one of the  files that the install said not to upload.

thanks!!!

Basically, mini1400 is right with his/her suggestions on anycontent.php. After all it doesn't matter though if you have install.php or not (no matter if it's a production server or not). The installer is being kept from being run twice by other methods. You're welcome to ignore the missing file, but it won't hurt to have it on the server either.
Bottom line: everything is fine, there's nothing to be worried about.
