Title: Any way to restore old picture views?
Post by: lalyil on July 18, 2006, 09:59:55 PM
Hello,

I have another admin in my gallery except me and she accidently reset all our picture views.
We had over 70,000 picture views so I'd obviously hope there's a way to bring them back, is there any way to restore it?

You can revert to a recent backup.

ah-oh, where do I find the back up and how do I do it?
I must say I'm pretty much hopeless when it comes to MySQL etc.

It's your responsibility to make backups and know how to use them. Coppermine doesn't do that for you I'm afraid.

Oh, ok. Well, thanks anyway.
I suppose if I knew what it was and how to use it I could have maybe done something with it.

You need to make backups *before* something happens, otherwise you have nothing. The numbers can't be regenerated from anywhere.
