I've poked around for this change, and haven't seen the answer for it (similar things that I've changed, but not this exactly)...
My gallery is using fairly long descriptions, and so the desire is to move the album thumbnail (for each album, gallery-wide) to the top of the description field (most preferable) or at least to the top of its own field (looks easiest and is still most acceptable).
I THINK I know how to actually make the thumbnail relocate in its own field, but I don't know which document to make the changes to.

SOLVED
Through trial and error, I found the appropriate line to change in theme.php in the <!-- BEGIN album_cell --> section.
