Title: ImageMagick location???
Post by: seno on January 28, 2004, 12:23:46 AM
I have Redhat9 installed and ImageMagick has been pre installed, according to the rpm.
Can someone guide me as to how to locate the ImageMagick 'convert' utility for the coppermine setup.
I have located a folder:
usr/share/ImageMagick/

but this doesnt work, any suggestions for this newbie.

if you don't have shell access (so you could search for it yourself), ask your webhost where they installed it. I remember there was a thread where some ImageMagick guru pointed out the usual folders to look in, but I don't remember it - search the board.

Usually the possible locations are

/usr/local/bin
/usr/bin

Try both, one should indeed work!
