Title: How to get the index.php off the end of my page name?
Post by: visualawakenings on July 29, 2006, 10:55:16 PM
Ok, one final question - how do I get the index.php off the end of the gallery name?  I have it set in general settings to be just this link: http://www.artbymoonlight.com/Artwork/ (there is a gallery there but it is the old one with the brown background that doesnt work)  but the only link that is working is: http://artbymoonlight.com/Artwork/index.php!

I did try to do this in the Config area but it doesnt seem to be working!

OH- EVERY CHANGE THAT I MAKE TO MY CONFIG AREA DOESNT ACTUALLY SAVE, THAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM.  WHEN I GO BACK, IT IS THE SAME AS IT WAS BEFORE???

Thank you again so much!

Brandi

Clear your cookies. Both sites are the same thing.

Ok, yes, the link is now working. My admin config panel still says that it is using "brandis template" as the basis, does that matter?  I cant get anything to change in the panel once I save it, it just goes back to what i had before.

Thanks again,

Stop going from one issue to the other. The index.php issue is now solved. Your theme question should have gone into the other thread you have started about your custom theme. We have a "one issue per thread" policy you agreed to respect, that's why Nibbler told you on the other thread to start a new one for your index.php issues.

Sorry, I didnt know that was what he meant.  I am new to this.  One issue seems to lead into another issue.

Thanks.
