Title: Single Signon for PHP-Fusion
Post by: casNuy on August 04, 2006, 03:46:06 PM
Testing various CMS'ses, i also looked at php-fusion. Coppermine is always a nice application to integrate into such a CMS.
For those who are interested, I have a single signon module available, as usual no changes to Coppermine (or php-fusion) scripts needed.
Have tested this under Windows/*nix and with the latest stable version.

Could you release it as user-contributed bridge file then?

I did not create it as a bridge but used my previous method which is using a special index script (index_fusion.php).
The reason with sticking to this method is actually very simple, it allows me to make bridges independently of the target application.
All SSI's are based upon the same structure which means that once i figured out a CMS, these hacks become simple to create. Certainly once i figured out an application, i can use that logic for all CMS'ses.

OK, anyway: could you post your mod then? In fact there have been users who asked for integration of coppermine into PHP-fusion. I guess they don't want to argue if this is done using a bridge or your method (although the coppermine dev teams prefers the bridge version) - they probably don't care as long as there is just some method for integration.

I tried your mod package and I get a error saying "Server not found at index.php". I don't understand.

Which versions are you running and on what platform ?
So you installed PHP_Fusion & Coppermine which both works ok, nect installed the 2 mods and activated both.
Did you verify the settings for Coppermine within Fusion ?
Did you copy the supplied script into the root of the Coppermine directory ?
