Title: Password protected ecards?
Post by: ringo on August 08, 2006, 04:21:46 PM
Well, my client likes the ecard feature but would like to be the only one to be able to use it.  :)
Is it possible to password protect this feature, if it is clicked a password form pops up to be filled before continuing? Thanks for any thoughts on this request...

Put the client in the only group that has permission to send ecards.

Thanks Nibbler. I have no groups since I'm using the gallery in a modified form where no one can do anything to it but the admin... it's this business: http://www.theagencyinc.com/men.html
not sure I grasp the concepts of groups, I've read the docs but I think I have a different setup here? Since I've made only 2 albums (men and women) can a group or user modify these? I don't think I'm communicating what I'm trying to say, sorry. Make any sense? Thanks

You always have groups, unless you have drastically modifed Coppermine. Look at the groups page and give only admins the right to send ecards.

So what about the ecard icon that you click? Can it show up only in admin mode? Trying to understand, thanks.

The icon is not displayed if you don't have permission to send ecards.
