This might just be a problem due to my lack of knowledge. I have looked and search the forum for help about my issue without luck.
The thing is: I have a category, and within this category I have 4 albums with a few pictures in each. When I from the main screen select the category, and then an album. What I get is all the pictures within the category, not just those in the selected album. I have checked the files to see if they have the right album assigned to them - and they do. If I choose properties on an album, and then change files - I get only those pictures I uploaded to that album. So to sum it up:
Why do Coppermine display all pictures within a category, when I choose to view a specific album within that category?

After viewing around my albums I noticed the "statistic" for each album, stating for instance: 3 files ... 14 linked. I guess that has something to do with my "problem"

In 1.4.x the Album Keyword is no longer being used for searching purposes, but, rather, to link images from other album into another. Using this method, files/images can be displayed in various albums while the file itself need only exists in one album on your webserver. You simply upload a file to one album as you would normally do, then assign one or more keywords to the file. The keyword function reads blank spaces between words as a 'break' and assumes that these words are separate words. If you must use phrases for your keywords, connect them with an underscore or by using the ascii space holder ctrl+Alt+0160 (NOTE: the latter option only works with latin based character sets.) Thank you! I had used the same keyword on several of the pictures independent of which album. Thought the keywords only was used when searching.
