Title: renaming directory and linking the albums on my site
Post by: gybanez on August 15, 2006, 08:17:36 PM
Hi, I apologize if this issue I'm having has been discussed on this board somewhere. I have looked but don't know how to search for the issue I'm having.

I already have uploaded and created albums on my site. My question is, I want to rename the directory from what it is now. When I change the name to one directoy it obviously breaks the link of the albums and images on the site. How do I change that in coppermine? I've tried doing different things but have no success.

Rename which directory?

sorry about that important detail.

I normally do batch uploads of my pics. So I manually create a folder with 777 rights under the "album" folder. I then do the batch add files option. This is all fine.

My main problem is I want to rename one of the created folders. That is when the album view is messed up because the db doesn't know about the new folder name. I'm I doing this wrong? Thanks for any help.

- why do want to rename that folder , at all !!!?
- you need to manualy change the filepath column of xxx_picture with new name of folder
