Title: Users Can't Login Using IE
Post by: Marshall1972 on August 17, 2006, 03:32:06 AM
My users can't login in using IE 7.0  They click login, put in their password, it gives them the welcome screen, then it reverts back to the login in page as if they never logged in.  If they login in with Firefox everything works as it should. Any ideas as to what is causing the problem with IE?

Thanks

It seems like a cookie issue , check the privacy & Security setting of IE

If that doesn't help, post a link with test nonadmin login.

It was a cookies issue.  Thanks so much.

Thanks for resolving your thread.
I know that you haven't asked for this advice, yet I can't resist: IE7 is beta software. Users who don't know what cookies and privacy settings are and how to edit browser settings accordingly definitely don't have the skills to properly test-drive beta software. I'm aware that this might be tricky, but I'd try to convince them never to use beta software again unless they really know what they're doing.
