Title: language error in coppermine with the Kubrick theme
Post by: claim on August 18, 2006, 11:42:30 AM
Hello,

I am new to this forum. Also new to PHP, MySQL, Coppermine, and BBLog. Just finished installing Coppermine with BBLog as a frontend page. I like to have the two of them the same theme so I've used the Kubrick theme. Al is working fine, the only thing is that in Coppermine characters like "ë" are displayed as "ë".
I have treid to work with different characters setting but it won't work.

You can see it at www.fam-menger.nl/gallery-MM/

"Categorieën" has to be "Categorieën".

Can anybody help me with this?

The {CHARSET} and other tags in your template.html should be in upper case.

Thanks Nibbler,

For the text that comes standard with coppermine this works OK. Now there I had a problem with descriptiontext within catagory's and album's. I appears that the the charset for the Dbase was not OK. I changed it, and it works fine.
