Title: Merging coppermine and smf registration screen
Post by: n3n on August 19, 2006, 05:09:45 PM
Hi.

ive tried bridging cpg and smf before, but it didnt really work out for me.
I was wondering is it possible to "merge" the registration screens. E.g a users clicks on register,
then gets one screen where he registers for both systems. Optionally the user would be able to choose two different
nicknames for the systems.

Would this be a possibility or impossible due to the differences in the systems.

When bridging, the coppermine login system is dropped and replaced by smf's.

Tnx for the quick reply. I dont want to bridge the two systems. I just want to make a reg page
so that the user can register in both systems, and i end up with two databases that both have the users.

The current code isn't set up to do that. If you want it, you'll need to code it yourself or pay someone to do it.

Off the top of my head, I don't think so. There are probably complications I haven't considered, though.
