Title: Loss of administrator rights in private galleries
Post by: Roland_Deschain on February 01, 2004, 01:34:38 PM
Hi,
I got a problem with the restriction of albums. When I go to the album properties and change 'Album can be viewed by' to a special group I loose control of this album. When I go back to the albums-page, that album lost the administrator buttons and I can't even open it.
What am I doing wrong here? All I want is to restrict the access to the album, but as admin I should still be able to visit and change the album.

Best wishes,
Roland

Hi,

go into config, and change the 'Show private icon to unlogged user' to YES.

Now you will see the private icon, but when you click on it you will go to it and be able to edit as before.  This is a known bug, fixed in next version (also fixes have been posted, if you need to not show icon)

the standard answer for people asking for the release date of the next version is
QuoteWhen it's ready
Don't expect it this month  !
