Title: Using groups created in phpBB
Post by: mottaguedes on August 22, 2006, 06:29:10 PM
Hi All!!!

I have successfully bridged my CPG with phpBB 2.0.19.

What I'd like to do now is this: define groups on phpBB and then ue them in CPG to define what albuns can be seen.

I can see the groups created in phpBB when I go to the "Groups" administratino but I don't know what to do next. BTW, what does the "Assigned albums" exactly mean? When I click that button I get a message "This group has no special access".
I thought this is where I could say which albums can be seen by each group.

All help is appreciated. :)

Regards!

Use album properties to assign album viewing permissions.

Only thing I can see about viewing permissions is "album password".

I guess this is probably different in a stand alone installation or in a bridged installation.

If you have set "Users can can have private albums" to YES on the config page, you can determin who will have permission to view the files of this album.
