Title: "Fatal Error" on index/login page -- Help?
Post by: Tink25 on August 24, 2006, 07:50:53 PM
Hi,

I've worked with Coppermine before and have never gotten any kind of error like this. I've looked through these forum pages over and over hoping to find a thread with a similar issue as what I have, and haven't found a solution yet. Hopefully you can help me.

On my gallery index page, http://www.braff.net/thegallery, I am getting the following error message:

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'bridge/coppermine.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/b/r/a/braffnet/html/thegallery/include/init.inc.php on line 236

I've called my webhost (GoDaddy) and they told me to contact Coppermine. I'm using SmartFTP & I've used a Coppermine gallery on a previous site that I work on, and it's been flawless. If you have any idea on what I could try to do to solve this, I'd be so grateful.

Thanks.

The file is not there. Upload it.

If this counts as a separate question, let me know and I will make a new thread about it: Would you be so kind as to tell me in a little more detail how to go about uploading the file? Do I create it myself, or is it hidden somewhere?

Thanks again.

It's a part of the Coppermine package. All files in the package should be uploaded to your webserver.

Okay, that makes sense. Do you think I should just reupload the entire Coppermine package?

That's probably the best idea.

Alright, thank you so much for your time. I'll see if that works.
