Getting the:
There are no folders inside the "albums" folder yet. Make sure to create at least one custom folder within "albums" folder and ftp-upload your files there. You mustn't upload to the "userpics" nor "edit" folders, they are reserved for http uploads and internal purposes.
Windows server, just to be sure I set perms everyone full control on albums.
Browsable interface is set to 'no'.
What are the other causes besides perms and the browsable interace deal? Unable to post test link, server is still in a non-routable network.
Did you create a subdirectory in the /albums directory (for example, /uploadpics)?
Yep, folder is called 20060827 (todays date) and has a few .jpg images in it.
You can't use the everyone permission. You need to give the IIS user permission. You need to find a good guide for how to set permissions for IIS.
I tried with perms for the IIS user, but since it still wasn't working I figured I'd eliminate that as a factor by just giving everyone perms. I do know how to set perms. The only two factors I have been able to find in other threads was perms and the Browsable Interface setting. So I wanted to eliminate one. I also did set the other to no, and as I said still not working. What else would affect this?
edit: posted into the wrong thread, sorry
I have reported a bug concerning the batch upload process under windows os. I am surprised again, that the the proposed fixes are not included into the new version.
Perhaps it can help you.

Your proposed fixes are actually a change of features, which will not go into the cpg1.4.x series, but only into cpg1.5.x.
