Title: abusive comments post
Post by: jojo3zep on August 29, 2006, 10:05:45 PM
I have seen, that since 2 weeks, I receive several comments that are post abusively. They all link to HTML pages, regarding sexual proposal and all are linked to virus/worms.
I tried to supress the possibility to post comments, but I didn't found the menu for it. I have also tried to maintain only the name of the guest, with cancelling manually the comments, so that Coppermine can stopp a second comment for this one, but the guest are always changing their name and IP. Can somebody help me ? thanks

On a similar theme, is there anyway that comments can be moderated and approved BEFORE they appear on a site? I live in a country where it's very important all comments are vetted befoe public viewing to establish their content...

It has even been added to the devel branch already. If you feel adventurous, you're welcome to check out the SVN repository (but please don't ask questions how this is done - this is sort of a test that you need to perform to show you're capable to handle and understand beta software). Please understand though that the devel version comes with absolutely no support at all!
