Post by: attempt on August 30, 2006, 02:08:08 PM
Is it possible to upload a text instead of an image on a coppermine gallery. May an  html file. I thought on uploading a pdf file, but is it there another posibility?

Coppermine supports a wide range of documents that you can upload. This includes .txt and .pdf. By default, uploading an HTML file is not an option for security reasons, however you can change this by adding the file type (there is even a plugin (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24186.0) for easy config). This is being covered in the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm), please read them before posting next time you start a thread.

I know about this posibility. But I want the text to be displayed in the gallery, not just a link to the document.

There are mods to allow direct display of both txt and pdf files, please search the board.
