Title: Changing default text - which file.?
Post by: firswood on September 01, 2006, 12:34:30 AM
Hello ,

Just installed... going great so far, but its early days.. LOL

I would like to change the text of the front page headings..

FOR EXAMPLE - I want to replace 'CATEGORY' with the word 'ARTISTS'
and by way of another example - the Word 'ALBUMS' and 'FILES' with the words GALLERY and IMAGES respectivley..

Likewise at the bottom , i want to continue the theme and alter the text that says
1 files in 1 albums and 1 categories with 0 comments viewed 1 times

to say

1 image in 1 gallery and 1 artist with  etc etc - anyway I hope you get the idea.

If you know the location of the specific file I need to alter the text on, that would be agreat help.
And save me trawling thru each file.

It's all translatable text, so look in your language file (eg lang/english.php) to change it.

So they are.

Oh my god. I wonder how long it would have taken me to find it.

I was trying to be methodical and clever - I guess I owuld have worked on it eventually , but anyway thanks for your help.
This can be marked as SOLVED now ---  how do i do that?

All you need to do is say the issue is solved and we mark it as solved ourselves. It a perk of the 'job' :)
