Hello,
Can you display links to private, pwd-protected album to not-registered users? I have checked the "Show private album Icon to unlogged user", but when not logged in there is no icon. "Personal gallery" is set to Allowed in the group-settings for registered users and the "Album can be viewed by" is set to me only (like it says in the docs) and I have a password filled in.
thanks,
/Nickelas
oops, wrote can where it shoould be can't. rephrased it to make it a bit clearer hopefully
Created a test-login at www.mittalbum.se/galleri
login: nix
pwd: abc
admin mode=>config=>Files and thumbnails advanced settings=>Albums can be private
set it to yes
also read the note=>Note: if you switch from 'yes' to 'no' any current private albums will become public
Thanks, but I have it set to Yes. And the problem is that I can't see any link or icon to the private albums that are password protected when not logged in. If you try the test-login you see that this user has one password-album and that there's no link to it when not logged in (but it does show up in the album-number-count). Is this working for everyone else?
what does it take to get an answer to this?
read the docs...

Ok, got it.
Don't quite get it still though. In this thread: (see below) it seems like the name of a pwd-protected album is shown, is the name also a link?
Anyway, when I am not logged in the album name is not displayed. Are you supposed to find a pwd-protected album via the start page or do you have to modify it yourself/post a link to it?
Modified: forgot to include the link to the thread I was referring to..

the above link brings you to ...
QuoteShow private album Icon to unlogged user
Toggles the display of the private album icons to unlogged users.
Set to 'NO', the album is completely hidden from unauthorised users.
Set to 'YES', the album name, description and statistics are shown, but not the thumbnails or files contained within.
set it to 'YES'
Yes, but the name of the album does not appear..
Hello Nickelas,
i had the same problem.
Create a second Album, store a picture in it and make it viewable to everyone.
