Title: Installation? Am I a total noob?
Post by: Jesper L on September 04, 2006, 08:13:38 PM
Hi guys.

Cool mod for the Coppermine. Hmmm...that if it was possible for me to figure out :-D

I´ve done the test page ok so far. When I want to use it at my website, I go totally wron it appears.

Here´s my scenario:
I have e107 installed in one folder and Coppermine in another folder. Seperate installs.
These are my directory installs:
http://www.mysite.com/Forum/
http://www.mysite.com/gallery/
http://www.mysite.com/cpmfetch/

I want to include random and last pic in my news section (Forum) - how do I do that?
I would also like to have it running with just one pic in my menu block - how do I do that.

Hehe..I know I have many questions - just hope anyone can help ;-) I´ve read all the instructions and manuals but can´t  seem to get it right in my brain  ??? Not a total php noob but close.

Thanks

You mean you are trying to get it to appear in your e107 pages?

I am not familiar with e107... so I won't be much help there.

Hi - thanks for reply.

Yes I'm trying to integrate it in my e107 pages. Either as a RSS feed or with the HTML WYSIWYG editor in my news section. Can´t seem to get it working though.

Yeah, I would start with getting the test script working... then tell us what it is doing when you try to integrate it and stuff.

Either that, or change the topic to something that someone that uses e107 would see and maybe pop in to help... like "Integrating into e107 pages"

RSS Feeds should be easy... I think.
