I recently tried to upgrade my photo gallery (http://photos.t-wilson.org) from 1.3.4 to 1.4.8 in my Fantastico from my cPanel.
When doing so, I encountered a really weird error and I'm not too sure what it means or what to do, Fantastico gave me this message:
"Upgrading...
Initializing Parameters - Done.
Upgrade failed
The database is not working properly and the creation of a database backup file has failed. Please contact the sysadmin for further assistance. Include this message for reference.
The initial installation has not been modified."
And when I go to the main page, I get this error code:

Coppermine critical error:

Can anyone please help on how I can fix the issue?
Contact your host as the message suggests. We don't support fantastico for this very reason - it causes problems.
Alternatively, you should download the file from our site and read the instructions on doing the manual upgrade.
