Title: Number of albums randomly increasing?
Post by: EliteRides on February 05, 2004, 02:17:15 AM
I thought it might have just been something random.  I recently redesigned my entire site and did it on a new host.  I just noticed today that my number of albums is listed as 11 when it's really only 8.  It was 8 for the last couple weeks and out of nowhere it's increased to 11.

Also, it shows that there is 1 comment but, there are no coments either.  Both "glitches" happened today.  Any insight?

if you allow user_galleries: maybe some of your members has limited the privacy options of his/her user_gallery to visible only by himself?

I count 10 albums of which four are not named (8 are in Damon's gallery, 1 in LaCie's gallery, and 1 in UT_Celica_GT's gallery.)  The eleventh may be a private album. To see private albums, set the gallery to show the private icon to unlogged users.

The comment is on the Mitsubishi in the LaCie's album. (Just click last comment on the main page.)

You have no custom categories or 'public' albums.

If you have users who have created albums, but not put any pics in them yet, you will not be able to see them normally, and will cause this effect.

see these threads for how to find and remove;

Thanks guys.  That's what it was.  I guess I wasn't understanding part of the album permissions you can create.  So... I might have another question here in a bit.  :wink:  Thanks.
