Title: How do you ban a IP address?

Hey everyone, how do BAN a IP address??? I dont know how to do it, it says in the BAN USER link that you can type in their IP address but HOW? I can't see anywhere it being displayed when you're viewing members....
appreciate some answers!

You can find the visitor Ip by looking at RAW LOG of your site , usualy you can find such a feature on hosting control panel
but if you don't have one ,Try this:
- enable logging by going to
   config=>Logging and statistics=>Logging mode   set it to normal
- Now as an administrator go to user manager and change the password of that user
- then when the user try to login she/he will get wrong password message and her/his Ip will be loged :)
- Check your security log ....

yeah but when I do so it says there are NO logs created :S

So she/he is not try to login yet ! (did you change the password?)
Or may be you banned her/him already and he can't try login ;)

Hi, how can i ban an aol user ip that changes every time he loads my page? ???

Then you can't ban her/him by IP try USERID instead
