Is there a Coppermine mailing list I can sign up to somewhere? Something that just sends me a quick e-mail every time a new version of Coppermine is released so that I can get on it right away and upgrade?

You can subscribe to the notifications for the announcement sub-board (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=58.0) (click on "notify" there) or you can subscribe to the package on sf.net (http://sourceforge.net/project/filemodule_monitor.php?filemodule_id=98538).
