At first i want to say that i really like coppermin photoalbum. I'm from holland and my english isn't very good so i hope you'll understand my problem.
two days ago i installed the photoalbum on my site. i installed it correct and was able to login. today i installed the same files on an other site of me, that site is on the same server.
i installed that photoalbum correct too and i could make albums and i've put photos in it. but after i changed something in 'groups', so that users have to be registered when they want to put comments, i logged out and i couldn't login anymore on both sites.
the strange fact is that other people running xp and windows 98 (i'm running '98 too) still can login and see the admin modus! I also can login but i can't see the admin /user modus!
i removed all my temporary files and cookies. i removed my passwords on my pc.
i don't know what to do anymore, i hope you have understand my problem and i really hope someone can help me resolving this problem!
ps i've the same passwords for both albums

Cookie/browser issue? Have you tried logging in with a different browser other than the one you always use?

Now, let's clarify the situation. You are saying that you can login, but you cannot see the administrator's controls?
Also, please make sure you have deleted your cookies, and run Windows Update for IE (if this is your browser -- go to the appropriate source for updates if you don't use IE).
If so, check to see if there is a user mode/admin mode link in the link bar at the top. Click on admin mode if it is there.
If this is not the situation, please post a screenshot of what your browser shows. If you do not have a screenshot program, you can use an excellent free screenshot program like Smartision Screen Copy:

i only have explorer on the pc of my parents.. i'm not allowed to install netscape or something else, because my parents won't :(

I've already deleted them more than once. i've also run a windows update for IE.

that's the big problem, i'm not able to see a mode / admin mode link. i'm only seeing the menu i also see when i'm not logged in.

You won't believe me, but I logged in a few minutes ago and i was able to see the adminmodus. so strange. so the problem have been fixed however i still don't know what was wrong.....
