Title: it worked for the first time, but NOT this time!
Post by: tekitouni on September 25, 2006, 05:19:15 PM
I have installed the Coppermine Photo Gallery once and it's successfully on my site,
but when I try to install another one, it doesn't work for some reasons.
I've been typing exactly the same thing though.

What does this error mean?
English is not my first language so I'm confused.
I will be grateful if anyone could tell me what's wrong with it.
Thank you.

This is a mysql server error you need to ask your host for support...

Actual error message is
QuoteCould not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was: Can't connect to local mySQL server through socket
'/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

I removed your hotlinked screenshot and attached it to my posting instead, so it will remain visible even if your link goes down. Although screenshots are great for many purposes and especially to explain issues you have that are visible for you only, posting the text of error messages is usually more helpful, as you then have the additional benefit of the forum search being able to come up with results. Subsequently, searching for your error message would have told you the same thing Sami told you.
