Title: uploading Video's
Post by: tommytomato on October 04, 2006, 03:29:15 PM
I´ve got a problem with uploading Video's.
The section under config "Allowed Video Formats" is typed in "All" does this need to be changed

If I try to upload a video the program says "0 Files uploaded".
I have the CPG 1.4.9 (stable).
Do we have to install another tool to get the upload section "Video"?

any one point us to a link please or some docs on how to get it working, we own our own server ( tinysofa 2.0 ) so changing a few things shouldn't be a problem.

thanks TT

Enable debug mode and see the actual error
Use batch add instead of http upload for video file

batch add worked ok, but when viewing video from the gallery, it didn't play, from what debug said it looks like my system is set only to recive 2 meg uploads, is that default for most linux systems  ???

I had the same problem but the use "batch add" response worked.  Also the same problem on Linux...  the video would not play but I switched over to my MS machine and it worked like a charm.  I would guess it has something to do with our Linux config and setting some sort of media player as a default player.  I honestly don't know the answer to that but I am interested to know.

I am having the same problem. When i send the video (3gp) to my email account and save it to my desktop it plays fine. However when uploading the same video to coppermine and then trying to play the video it will not play. If I ftp the video from the server to my pc it will not play either. I am running redhat linux 3es.

3gp is not a regular video file for Coppermine. Your issue is not the same, but it differs completely from this thread. Start a thread of your own.
