Title: Q about Themes: link to main (index.php) page
Post by: maulesh on February 08, 2004, 10:19:00 PM
I have categories and subcategories for my pictures and noticed that with all the themes if I browse down to subcategory level then there is no link to get back to the main page. The only two way I can get back to it is by entering one of the photo albums listed in there and then clicking on the "home" link show as part of the path of the album OR by clicking on the "My Favorite" and then clicking on "Album List." The default theme has the Coppermine logo which is also a link back to the main page while the mac ox x theme has "Album List" doing that job. Am I missing something or this the intended behavior?

of course there are few alternates to get back but I was just wondering if there's an easy one click way back...

this has been asked quite often: if you don't like the "home" button inside your breadcrumb nav, you're free to add a "home" link into the coppermine navigation itself by editing /themes/yourtheme/theme.php
Add something like<a href="/your_coppermine_folder" title="Home">Home</a> ::
right after$template_main_menu = <<<EOT
                <span class="topmenu">

Next time, please search the board before posting (such a trivial question).

Have you actually specified 'breadcrumb' in the 'contents of main page' in config.
