Title: it works - YES! but only fetches my own images?
Post by: my evil twin on October 06, 2006, 04:29:58 PM
hello,

i am now using the development-version 1.9.3 and i made it work, yeah ;)

i use this call
<?php

include "./cpmfetch.php";

$objCpm = new cpm();

$objCpm->cpm_viewLastAddedMedia(1,3);

$objCpm->cpm_close();
?>

it works perfectly, BUT it is only fetching images which i (administrator) have posted myself.
that's strange!

i am not posting images that often, my members do post a lot more... and my images are NOT the last added media, just the last images i have added for myself.

now.. what's this?

can i correct this in any way?

my forums (where i fetch it) are here: http://forum.chamaeleons-online.com

i am using coppermine bridget to smf forums. may this be the cause?

thanks in advance for trying to enlighten me :))

greetings from germany :)

Sorry, I cannot enlighten you.  That must come from within.  When you point a finger at the moon, do not confuse the finger with the moon.  It is up to you to follow the finger to see the moon.

That being said, yes its due to bridging.  I have a dev release I think that addresses it, but I stopped working on it about two weeks ago when I ran out of time.  I have a presentation I am doing tomorrow on the core teachings of buddhism, but after that may have some time to work on it and roll out another dev release.

I really want to.

Thank - you the presentation went very well, had the monks laughing at a few points which goes over well.

Anyway, the successful presentation was followed by a suprise appendectimy (sp?) - the think where they take out your appendix anyway.  Not mine, my wifes.  All are doing well - but it will take till tomorrow to release it (there is another thread waiting on it now also).

Sorry for the delay, but thats what you get for free :)

Check this post... if you are bridged, you need to change one thing
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=37130.msg178215#msg178215

Let me know how that works out for you...

Thanks!

A note for future generations:  By the time cpmFetch 2.0 is out, you should not have to hand edit the config file to allow for bridging.
