Is it possible to have an album within an album? Sub-albums or whatever someone might call it? thisis something I could readily use... any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

use sub category instead
oh crap. That actually doens't work that well for me... it will, but it will ruin the entire flow, or feel of the site.

You can post in the freelancer board to see if anyone is willing to do it. It's apparently not an easy task so you are likely to have to pay a lot.
