Hi all
I'm quite new to coppermine, so please don't shoot me for asking stupid questions if you don't mind :)
Here is the thing:
- there are several user groups
- one of those user groups only has one member
- this login will be used to send out to specific people to login and browse images
The problem now is, that specific user should not be able to change his password, in other words, their profile shouldn't be available to them.
The easiest way (don't know if that is the safest way though) would be to get rid of the 'my profile' link in the sub menu.
Brings me to my question: is it possible to hide that submenu for one specific group or user?
Thx heaps :)

- Final extract 2.3 (plugin) can do it visualy but remember it's visualy ,
- Renaming profile.php to something else could be better (this way only you that you now the file name could have access to ...)
Hi there
First of all: Thx for your time! :)
I see what you mean.
However, there are other groups that still need it, so changing it for everyone wouldn't be a good idea in this case.

Then use that plugin
Thx again for the reply.
Where can I find this plugin, and how can I install it?
Thx

You can simply search the plugin board (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=66.0) for it (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=36605.0)
Thank you, I will try this out today and let you know how it is going :)
Thx!!

Hi again
Installed the plugin, tried everything out, but it seems that the 'my profile' link isn't in there to configure?
kind regards
P
