A bit perplexed trying to save the default theme of my gallery.
In CONFIG, Theme, I set it to "fiblue3D" theme to be my default. I then click the button to save the new configuration.
Now ... if I again open CONFIG and scroll down to theme ... it shows "project_vii" theme! And it will do this every time I change it to "fiblue3d" and save the config.
Can anyone give me a hint just what's going on here that I can't save the theme I want as default? I had a visitor come to the forum a while ago and he told me HIS theme came up as "mac_ox_x" - which I never selected anywhere.
What am I missing here?

I have. No change. I also went to the gallery on my wifes computer. I got that "project_vii" theme by default.
A link to your gallery and if need be, a test login name and password so that we can take a look.

I *think* I have this resolved now, after pulling my hair out for a few hours.
What I did was click on the "default theme" selection, which took me to the project_vii theme that kept appearing. Why, I don't know. But from that theme, I went into config and then selected the fiblue3d theme I wanted. Saved that config. Refreshed and it was on screen. I then tried my laptop, my wifes system, and my sons system - which all previously defaulted to project_vii and I got fiblue3d on all.
So it appears that that did the trick. I still have no idea why.
That was a cookie issue as Nibbler suggested ....

If it was a cookie issue ... why did it continue AFTER I deleted my cookies and cache ... and happen on 3 other systems that had never been to the gallery before?
Sorry - in re-reading that answer it sounded like a challenge, rather than asking for further information. Definitely not intended to be! My apologies if it was taken that way.....
There is a slight issue with the config page. If you as admin select a custom theme for yourself using the gallery dropdown theme selector then that theme is preselected as the gallery theme when you view the config page. To be able to set the default theme you need to first remove your coppermine prefs cookie (xxx_data).
Thanks... ;) Had the same problem untill I see this post...
