Title: How to install the modpack?

Sorry for my n00b question regarding coppermine and Stramms modpack.

but how do I install it? cant find any docs about it.

when I copy the files over only thing I get is error.

coppermine works itself, but when replacing files with stramms modpack files it doesnt work anymore.

if anyone can point me in the right direction or point to a place with instructions I would be more than happy!

Installation:
Before you do anything make a backup of your files and your database!!!!!!
Unpack and upload the files in the archive. Keep the folder structure intact. Then run update.php .... done (you'll get a fatal error if you open the index without running update.php)
If you have a bridged Coppermine rerun the bridgemanager

I just realised that I missed that small part.. but how does the update know in which folder on my host I put it in?

Does it need to be in the cpg149 foldeR_

update.php is already there... it's part of every CPG install. Has nothing to do with the modpack

you upload the modpack into your coppermine folder replacing the existing files. Then you run update.php. That scripts updates the database entries. It doesn't need to know where it is on the server cause it uses relative addressing. And that's only necessary to include some coppermine base files

Hi there,

got a problem with the installation. This is the first time I try to install a mod to my gallery.

So what did I do so far. I downloaded the last version of cpg, the cpg plugin pack and stramm_mod1.4.9.bridge.3. I installed the basic version and copied the other files into the respective folders. I did run update.php, but no changes to whatsoever occured. Why? Shouldn't I be able to use the new options and so on? Please help me!
