Title: Is it possible to move a link from sys menu to sub menu?
Post by: ardeo on November 07, 2006, 06:47:47 PM
Hi,

I'm hoping to be able to move links from between the two menus... is there any way to do this within my theme?  The reason for this is that i want the links to be grouped differently in my page layout.  If there's another way to do this, please let me know...

thanks!

Yes, it's possible. There are stickies in this board on how to remove and add links, so that's essentially what you're doing when you move links.

Thanks, Tranz... I've read through the stickies, and I've been able to remove links no problem, as well as adding my own "custom" sort of links.  But when I try to move buttons that are specific to one menu into another (that have special functionality) they do not work.  A good example is the login button (which senses whether or not you're logged in, then changes to logout).

If you have any ideas, let me know!

thanks

Post what exactly you did, i.e. zip your custom theme folder and attach it to your posting
