Title: Default Album Permissions - Registered users only
Post by: natrlhy on November 17, 2006, 12:22:37 AM
Is there a way to have new albums that get created NOT be a public album? I understand how to set this later but it would be nice if this could be a configuration option or a plugin.  I would rather have all the albums on my gallery be private and only viewable by the "Registered" group by default (and later changing it to a public album).  I have the option selected to have private albums but I would like this to be the default action for all albums that get created.  I tried searching for this before posting but didn't come up with much.

Also, is there a quick and easy way to see which albums are public/private?

Thanks!

Keep up the awesome work!

Hi
I want the new user albums to be private by default too. Wonder if you have solved this? I cant find any answers in this forum for this one.

The topic won't remain a "new topic" in the future, so it's better to post a link to the thread you're refering to for the benefit of others. You are probably refering to "User albums private by default (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=38837.0)"

Thanks that is the correct topic.  I'm just want to be clear that the only file that needs to be modified is the delete.php?
