Title: Deleting unwanted features
Post by: rickasaurus on November 19, 2006, 01:47:39 PM
How do I delete unwanted features, such as Most Viewed, Top Rated, Favourites etc.?

The solution recommended in FAQ, which I used for v1.3x, does not work for v1.4.10, because the items to be "commented out" no longer seem to be in the theme.php file. Where do I find them now?
thanks
Rick

Try the Final_Extract plugin - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=26893.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=26893.0)

One of the buttons I deleted with the final-extract plugin was the Upload button. I don't want gallery viewers to have upload facility.

Two questions:
1) Is there another way I can access upload facility in admin mode? (Not including batch upload), or:

2) Is there a way I can extract the upload button with final-extract plugin, to only be extracted in User mode (ie, Upload button is still available in admin mode.

thanks
Rick

- We have one question per thread policy , please respact the rules,

You need to set upload permision on Group manager , By removing upload button users still have access to upload section by typing the name of that section manually
